UNICEF Campus Initiative

The UNICEF Campus Initiative is a growing grassroots movement rooted in a belief that college students and constituents have a vital role to play in helping the world's children survive. We currently have over 120 campus clubs in the nation. We welcome all friends of the Campus Initiative: partner organizations, students, staff, faculty, and administrators on college campuses across the U.S. to join the Campus Initiative.

UNICEF Campus Initiative clubs engage with their local community to promote UNICEF’s child survival work in over 150 countries in a number of ways. Many clubs participate in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF and UNICEF Tap Project national campaigns. Additionally, they also host international dinners, organize concerts, and put on speaker series with expert panelists.

Have a UNICEF Campus Initiative Club on your campus? Click here to join a specific campus club and access additional resources including: the campus group discussion boards, activity toolkits, campus policies and procedure handbook.

Joining a group will also allow you to communicate with other campus clubs to share best practices and partner on future UNICEF awareness, advocacy, and fundraising events!

Every day, children die needlessly from preventable causes—and they don't have to. UNICEF takes proven, low-cost methods that save children's lives and makes them available regardless of income, ethnicity, or location. You can help by donating.

Hi! I think an issue affecting women and girls worldwide is gender discrimination. Women continue to be discriminated against in fields of education as well as the work force. They are often paid lower wages than men and are not allocated the same opportunities as them.

    Hi!

Thank you for your response.  You are correct in thinking that the event and fundraising map is the best way to see what is going on in NY. As for ways you can become involved and help,  I would be happy to speak with you further.  Why don't you email me at joherron@unicefusa.org and we can set up a ime for us to chat.
