UNICEF High School Clubs

UNICEF High School Clubs are driven by students who know they have a vital role to play in helping the world’s children survive. Clubs partner with the U.S. Fund for UNICEF to educate, advocate, and fundraise—work that is vital to UNICEF’s ability to save children in 190 countries around the globe.

Clubs produce benefit concerts and other fundraisers, write letters to elected officials, participate in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF and UNICEF Tap Project campaigns, and write school newspaper editorials.

Club registration for the 2012-2013 school year is now closed. Please check back late July/early August when the 2013-2014 registration will go live!

To start your own club, you must have:

  • - Four like-minded students, ages 14-18, to be members of the club
  • - Elected leadership—president, vice president, treasurer/secretary, and event planner
  • - Teacher or school administrator, who can serve as an official advisor to the club

Be a part of the change. Start your own club! Also, read our Prospective High School Club Toolkit to learn more about starting a club.

Does your school already have a UNICEF High School Club?

Every day, children die needlessly from preventable causes—and they don't have to. UNICEF takes proven, low-cost methods that save children's lives and makes them available regardless of income, ethnicity, or location. You can help by donating.

Hi! I think an issue affecting women and girls worldwide is gender discrimination. Women continue to be discriminated against in fields of education as well as the work force. They are often paid lower wages than men and are not allocated the same opportunities as them.

    Hi!

Thank you for your response.  You are correct in thinking that the event and fundraising map is the best way to see what is going on in NY. As for ways you can become involved and help,  I would be happy to speak with you further.  Why don't you email me at joherron@unicefusa.org and we can set up a ime for us to chat.
